Testimonials

The Motherly Love Foundation orphanage home especially appreciates the Seedplanters EmpowerHER Alliance for their remarkable support to our home. We had exciting moments during their visit. We received nice gifts such as journals, jump ropes, medical supplies stationeries and toiletries. We highly recommend the International community and philanthropists for more support so they can carry out their outreach work in supporting more vulnerable children like those at Motherly Love. We salute Seedoplanters EmpowerHER Alliance for their amazing support to Motherly Love Foundation and every young person whose life they have impacted.

I loved the entire experience - even the Roosters! The African Hair braiders, the Accra City Tour, Kakum Park, the National Museum, the packed Makola Market and the WEB DuBois Museum. I loved being able to walk into the rooms where he lived and met with visitors. I felt like I was traveling back in time.

I also learned a lot from The Elmina & Cape Coast Slave Castle experience. I knew how cruel slavery was. Standing in what used to be the reality for our ancestors made it feel so much more real. My all time favorite was visiting the orphanage.

I met Yolanda a little over a year ago in Ghana, and it was immediately clear that she is a visionary with a heart full of compassion. Her mission to connect young people with their diaspora is not only inspiring but transformative. Seeing Serenity, one of the young ladies she brought to Ghana, fall in love and draw strength from her roots was a testament to the depth of her impact.

Our visit to the orphanage together was another moment that highlighted her dedication to giving back and empowering communities. Her work goes beyond connections—it’s about creating meaningful change and inspiring others to embrace their heritage and make a difference. I am excited about her plans to collaborate with Inspire Her this year to further her mission through menstrual health education and pad donations.

Yolanda has an incredible vision. Her authenticity and passion are driving change that resonates deeply across continents. Her work is truly a beacon of hope and empowerment.
